What is the NDTA?

  • To promote and maintain the good name of the NDHP
  • To foster and encourage a high degree of morale, skill, and efficiency therein
  • To cultivate friendship, fellowship, trust and understanding among all members of the Patrol
  • To promote and encourage better law enforcement in the State of North Dakota
  • To be aware and concerned with proposed legislation which may affect general law enforcement or members of this association
  • To protect its members against injustice
  • To make recommendations to the Superintendent of the Highway Patrol or other officials concerning the welfare of the Patrol and this Association
  • To promote, foster and perpetuate any project which will help to bring professional recognition to the members of this Association
